February 2006 (marzec po polsku!!)

Wow, I don't know what to start with, maybe from the apologies that I haven't been updating my blog for over two weeks now. Sorry guys! I was just not in the mood for that. So what is new you ask? Well, not much. I went one more time to a hockey game and had a lot of fun (and I met an old friend of mine there- Nathaniel). I really like this game. I'm serious, it's really cool and I wish we had something similar in Poland. I mean, you can go to soccer games, but it's like a 50/50 chance that you won't come back at all, or you will, but with a knife in your eye and an axe in your forehead. So, not very safe.
One day Geri and I went to Seattle to see the 5th Ave musical called "The Wedding Singer". The theatre was really gorgeous and the performance was beautiful. I just loved it. It was great, the plot was simple and romantic, and man they were singing so awesome. I really look forward to go to another one (more about the show and the theatre itself here). Thank you Geri for taking me there!!!
Geri and I also went to the movie called "the Pink Panther" that caused such an unexpected controversy on the comments list :) I say that this movie wasn't very funny, but some people think otherwise. This week I want to see "Eight Below" (link). Will keep you updated on that.
I had a number of interviews lately. They all went pretty good. In fact I was about to get a job as a salesperson but I turned it down. I got some experience though and now feel way more comfortable calling companies, going to interview and basically talking to people. Next interview is this Monday. Wish me luck, cause this one is pretty important to me.
Valentines was ok. Spent most of the day in a car going to and from Redmond (40miles away from the house). It's really cool to drive a car and listen to polish music and be so far away from Poland. Yes, I miss Poland and you guys (and my family) but it's also so fun to be that far away and do something that a lot of people will never have a chance to do.
Shaun was not feeling good, had some kidney problems so he got back home and went to a hospital to see what was wrong. It seems it's just an infection so he's on antibiotics and feels better now. It's good to see him. Boogie came over this Friday and we drank some beer, watched movies (Saw 2, Doom and Die Hard 3) and laugh.
18- was fooling around, rented three movies (Dead End, Cube 0, ?). You guys have to see Dead End (Droga Śmierci). We drank some beer and had a lot of fun. Shaun flew back home (Pullman).
20-21 - two interviews in Bellevue (little farther than Redmond :D). Well, the interview went pretty good I guess and now I'm waiting for them to verify all the info. They told me that they may have a job for me in Everett as an administrative assistant, which would be really cool. They're suppose to call me as soon as they know something. So, just waiting now and hopefully I'll get it. It would be really great.
22nd - For the last couple of days Ron's back has been really killing him. He's on painkillers all the time and can barely walk. It's so serious that he's been useing a cane for walking. I went to a hospital with him but they just gave him some stronger pills. We'll see how long this condition will last. Same day we also drove to Tacoma Airport to buy some tickets.
23rd - Geri's father passed away at the age of 99. On Saturday she left to Chicago where she should stay for a week. Ron and Shaun will join her middle of the week.
24-25 - We rented five movies (Resident Evil 1,2 , Big Lubaski, Exorcist, ?). As always drank some beer. I do not recomend any of the movies. I highly recomend however a movie called "Stigmata". I was gonna go to Canada but we decided with Ron that it will be better for his back if we just stay home.
26-28 - One of the computers we have broke down (graphic card) and so I had difficulties updating my blog, for what I apologize. What else is new? Still fucking around with the job. One day they call me and say they found something for me, the other they say they don't have it anymore. Right now I got info that they actually have something for me and they just have to verify my references. So, we'll see what we come up with. Ron has some major problems with his back. I took him to a doctor couple of times and also to a physical therapiest. They prescribed him even stronger pills now and said he should be fine in about three weeks. Ron tried to explain me what exactly his problem is, but frankly I don't really understand so I won't even try to write it here. He lets me drive his Jeep which is kinda cool.
I decided that March will be in Polish and April probably back in English. This will make a lot of my polish friends easier to understand how I'm doing here.
